File Guidelines
At Brooke Graphics, we are capable of opening and printing a variety of graphic files. Due to that variety, there are some guidelines to follow when sending us your files to output. Following these steps saves time and effort, and your project goes through production smoothly and efficiently.
Naming Your File
Please reference your company name as well as the project name, quote, or your p.o. number. This will speed the download process and ensure that we use the correct file.) e.g. "Brooke_Web_B1024.zip".
Please include color proofs with the job.
We would like to ensure that what we see on the screen is what you will see on your finished graphic. Providing us a color proof (printed or PDF version) gives us a guide, saves time, and ensures exacting accuracy, providing excellent quality.
Specify colors within your project.
Noting specific colors using the Pantone® color standard is a great help to us. With our technology we can match Pantone® colors with up to 94% accuracy in process color.
Please Outline or 'Convert to Curves' all fonts in a given Illustrator EPS file.
This is the best way to ensure that your fonts will look as you intended.

Always double check the size of your project.
Often our clients have file dimensions that do not proportion to the desired final dimensions of their graphic. Checking this beforehand saves time, and does not incur charges. We prefer a resolution of 100 pixels per inch at final output size.
Always include support files such as image and font files if needed.
As a backup, we like to have the all the resource files that make up your project in case we need to refer back to the original layout file.
